Best UK IPTV FAQ
Everything you need to know about our UK IPTV service — sports coverage, device compatibility, billing, free trials, and setup.
IPTV means watching TV over your broadband instead of a satellite dish or cable. You install an app on your Firestick, Smart TV or phone, sign in, and get live UK and international channels, sport, films and box sets. Nothing is installed on your roof and there is no engineer visit — if you can stream Netflix, you can use IPTV.
IPTV is simply a way of delivering TV over the internet, and the technology itself is legal — BBC iPlayer and Sky Glass both use it. Join IPTV UK is a registered company in England and Wales and handles your data under UK GDPR. Our Terms of Service explain acceptable use, and our 'Is IPTV legal in the UK?' guide covers the topic in more depth.
Yes — the Fire TV Stick is what most of our customers use. Our app is built to be light, so it opens quickly and changes channel fast on the Lite, 4K and 4K Max. If you prefer, you can use TiviMate or IPTV Smarters instead with the same login.
It takes about five minutes. Install the free Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore, type in the code from your welcome message, install our app and sign in. Our setup guide shows every screen with pictures, and WhatsApp support can walk you through it if you get stuck.
Press 'Free Trial', fill in your name, email, WhatsApp number and the device you use. Your login arrives on WhatsApp, usually within 15 minutes. The trial lasts 6 hours, includes everything, and does not need a card.
Sky and Virgin charge separately for entertainment, sport and films, usually on an 18–24 month contract with a box to rent. With us everything is in one prepaid plan from £10 a month — or £3.75 a month on the annual plan — with no contract and no box. You use the broadband and TV you already have.
We are registered at Companies House and with the ICO, and our company number and registered London address are shown in the footer so you can check them yourself. You pay by card or PayPal, which keeps your buyer protection, and support is in English on WhatsApp.
Fire TV Stick, Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs and Macs, plus MAG and Formuler boxes. If it connects to the internet and runs an IPTV app, it will almost certainly work.
Yes. Every Premier League match is included, including the Saturday 3PM kick-offs that are not shown on UK TV. You also get the Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, EFL, Scottish football, F1, UFC, boxing and the 2026 World Cup, in HD and 4K, on every plan.
Usually not — the service works normally on BT, Sky, Virgin Media, TalkTalk and most other UK broadband. Some people use a VPN if their provider slows down streaming on busy match days, or to watch UK channels while abroad. It is optional and works fine either way.
Roughly 15 Mbps per screen for HD, 25 Mbps for Full HD and 40 Mbps or more for 4K sport. A wired connection or a Wi-Fi extender near the TV often makes more difference than a faster broadband package.
Yes. Choose 1, 2 or 3 connections — one for each TV watching at the same time. With two connections, for example, one person can watch the football in the lounge while someone else watches a film upstairs.
Not by default — your channel list starts family-friendly. If you want adult channels added, ask our WhatsApp team and they will add them at no extra cost.
Yes. Major UK channels have 7-day catch-up, so you can go back to last night's soap or Saturday's match. There is also an on-demand library of more than 120,000 films and episodes, with new releases added every week.
Start with the simple fixes: restart the router and the device, and use a wired connection or move the router closer if you can. If it still buffers, message our WhatsApp support — we can check your line and move you to a different server, and a VPN can help if your broadband provider is slowing streams.
No. We never ask for card details for the trial, so nothing can be charged. When the 6 hours are up you can choose a 1, 3, 6 or 12-month plan — or simply walk away.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay and Google Pay. Card payments go through Shopify's secure checkout and PayPal handles its own, so we never see or store your card number. Each plan is a single payment — no subscription that renews itself.
Within minutes. As soon as payment goes through, your login details and a setup guide are sent to your email and WhatsApp — usually in under 5 minutes.
